PFR

Post by Carolina Petra Fan » Mon May 02, 2016 2:55 pm

I first heard PFR after I picked up their Great Lengths album on a whim years ago.

More recently PFR were going to do a kickstarter project, but one or more of the band members had some unexpected family issues to tend to so the kickstarter campaign was cancelled, and the band called it a day for good.

This week I've started listening to one of their greatest hits albums:

PFR was great. I wish they'd make some more music.

I agree. Too bad it looks like it will never happen.

Loved the band. It's amazing what they were able to pull off for a three-piece band. From what I've read, none of the guys have ever been out of work. They're all great musicians and have been working as studio players for years. Lead singer Joel Hanson even had success as a songwriter. He wrote "The Longing" which appeared on Petra's Double Take.
