Picked this up over the weekend. Has a classic rock feel.

Jimmie Lee Sloas...what a diverse guy. He used to sing and play bass in The Imperials AND Megedeth. HA!

I may have heard a few of their songs in passing, but that's about it. I do like Jimmie Lee though. He produced Whitecross's Unveiled album, which I really liked. He was also the bassist for Michael W.'s Change Your World tour, and he worked with PFR. Some bands are just too good to last. PFR was one of them. One of their songs was featured on the first season of WWE's Tough Enough.

And Gordan Kennedy, a talented guitarist who himself has had a rather diverse and prolific career.

I had no idea these guys had gotten back together again.

So I totally impulse bought this album. Pretty good! Anybody who likes the first Dogs of Peace album will like this one, too, since it has the exact same musical aesthetic. "Friend of the Groom" has a nice ZZ Top inspired groove to it.

The significance of their album names just dawned on me. The first Dogs of Peace album was "Speak". This one is "Heel". Maybe future albums will be called "Sit", "Stay", "Shake", and "Fetch".

This is my favorite album of 2016 so far and it's not even close.
