Re: Newsboys Reunion??
Sweet! I had an inkling months ago that this was coming. One of the major festivals gave a few teasers for their 40th anniversary, including reunions.
I fully expect DC Talk to perform as well.

Re: Newsboys Reunion??
What exactly does a "reunion" mean for a band like this that has had well over a dozen members over the years? Which line-up is reuniting?

Re: Newsboys Reunion??
The current lineup, minus Michael Tait, has been the same since the early 90's. Jody Davis took several years off for his family, before returning. Peter Furler was really the guy behind the band from the beginning. Phil Joel joined on bass, also in the early 90's. So, they are reuniting their longest running, most popular lineup.
It appears it will probably be one set from the Peter fronted lineup, one set from the Tait fronted band, and possibly some joint songs.
Once they got past the Going Public album, and John James left, the band really hasn't changed much. Phil Joined on bass, and he wasn't replaced when he left. They had a couple fill in guitar players during Jody's absence, but otherwise, all those guys have been there for the majority of the band's history.
