Prayer Request for my 7-yr-old daughter and the rest of us.

Hi folks...Amanda is nursing a 104-degree fever and associated symptoms today. While she will be fine with medication, my brother-in-law is getting married on Saturday afternoon and Amanda is the one who has been looking most forward to it (besides my brother-in-law of course).

In addition, my wife and son are both in the wedding as well so my request would be for prayer for...

Amanda for her immediate healing
Sharon and Robbie for protection from the sickness
Kimmie and me for protection and patience in helping everyone deal with all of this.

Thanks everyone!

It really stinks to be sick, especially before a big family thing like a wedding. We're thinking about you.

what a day

I'm praying for you........God knows all about it.

He is the only one that knows for a fact how and what has to be done, because he created us, and therefore who better to ask to make us well.

Not counting the fact that Jesus bore the strypes on His back for our healing.

God is bigger & over all things

And don't forget "Every good and perfect gift comes down from the father!"

It turned out to be a bad case of strep but, it also responded very quickly to the antibiotics. The wedding went of without a hitch and we all got to be there. (My 2-year old son Robbie was the ring bearer and he and one of the flower girls did a second lap down the aisle...it was hilarious).

THANKS TO ALL WHO PRAYED!

LOL at the kids doing the 2nd lap. This Friday will be 4 years for us. I still feel like a newlywed, though. LOL! I remember at our wedding as the wedding party walked 'up' the aisle to the back of the church, the flower girl started picking up all the flower petals on her way. I guess they had to stop her so everyone could leave. LOL!

Oh yes, mustn't forget. When my cousin got married, the flower girl sat down on the step towards the end, sighed, and fell asleep. They had to wake her up so they could walk up the aisle.

I think it's the flower girl and ring bearer everyone's anxious to see. Yes, I know, the bride as well.
