W.A.S.P.

Post by wildmanpetra » Tue Jan 26, 2016 3:28 pm

Hello All,
I just listened to the new W.A.S.P. cd Golgotha. I had seen in interviews where Blacky Lawless stated he was born again at the age of 12, wandered away but now has returned. I must say I like this album both message and music. I know that there is always a possibility of his return being a gimmick etc. But, from what I can see he seems sincere. Give the album a listen, you may like it as well. I especially like the title track "Golgotha" which cries out the need for Jesus.

I don't think it benefits anyone to say they are a Christian. It doesn't sell any more records. Likely less. Brian Head Welch is the prime example. Judging from the people like Eddie Trunk and others talking about Blacky, it sounds like the fruit is there.
