The Coloring Song
In December 2017, both The Union of Sinners & Saints and CPR released covers of the 1981 Petra classic, "The Coloring Song." Which updated version do you prefer?

Re: The Coloring Song
Ha! I thought about adding that one, but I really only wanted to compare these two since they were released at the same time.

Wow, I can't believe USS is hanging in there. I have never cared for John singing the classic material. It would however be cool if he would cover the first two records.

Re: The Coloring Song
By far USS is better; no offense to CPR but the sound sounds really fake like it is ran completely thru the keyboard, and plus the auto tune with GXV voice is horrible; I'm not really liking much about the CPR offering. BTW John Schlitt's vocals on Desert Rose gives me goose bumps and that is a prime example why I've always have felt John was the better lead vocalist; You can feel his joy or pain and heart thru his voice.
