The Greater Cause may be my favorite, but PDC and USS are close runner-ups.

Someone used the PDC word? Thanks.
Remember those were not meant to be Petra records, in any way, shape or form. We were just the first and only guys to get John and Louie together on the same project, post Louie's exit. We intended to have JS sing everything on the second, but he was in deep with his own project by then and he didn't want to complicate the optics of it all. We were the first and only guys to have Louie and GXV and John L on the same project before Classic Petra was a thing. In fact, I had numerous conversations with GXV, JDB and Louie about the Classic Petra thing long before it grew legs. Now that JDB is gone, I think I can tell this. There was a song written for Classic Petra to record, submitted by JDB, performed by some hot, up and coming, band. I used to have it. Maybe it will surface some day. Dang, did I chase a rabbit or what?

I did like Back to the Rock the best, but TGC, was awesome too. So was The Union of Sinners and Saints. PDC had some awesome lead guitar, and riffs.

I think we're all trying to forget about Greg's God Only Knows album. Hopefully that album isn't a reflection of the direction that CPR's sound will take when it comes time to head back into the studio. I found that album quite unremarkable.George Harrison wrote: ↑Sat Sep 01, 2018 11:22 pmDon't forget God Only Knows. And The Christmas Project.

That's, true, I'm not really into GXV's solo career that much.dihigo wrote: ↑Sun Sep 02, 2018 8:22 amI think we're all trying to forget about Greg's God Only Knows album. Hey Petheads,
I would have liked to have included The Christmas Project on this poll, but I think I was only given ten spots. Also, I've never heard any of GXV's solo stuff so I didn't even think to include that one. Thanks for voting.

John Schlitt's The Greater Cause, followed closely by The Union Of Sinners & Saints and II Guys From Petra's Vertical Expressions.

My apologies again. I actually meant to include Vertical Expressions in the poll. Happy Wednesday (Humpday).

I must be losing it this week. I didn't see that Vertical Expressions was already on the poll. Hope everyone has a good week.
