Re: Classic Petra Album
I'm a long-time lurker to this board, and I've been a fan of the band for much longer than that. I've read the classic/reunion Petra comments with great interest. I have come to the conclusion that I won't be attending concerts by either incarnation, if for no other reason than the political nature ...

I'm not a web designer, but I would be glad to help provide content. I have been a full-time journalist for more than 10 years -- actually my first paid byline was on Bob back in 1988 or so. I've covered NASCAR for most of my career, and John and his son have actually been to a couple of races at Na...

Bingo. I knew I'd heard that line a bazillion times. I could hear John singing it, but just couldn't place which song. I should've known another writer would be the one to help a brother out. That's actually based on The Parable of the Lost Sheep, but the Lost Coin story is right after that in Luke....

Parable of the Lost Coin Petra Song?
Is there a Petra song that is, at least in part, based on the parable of the lost coin? Its basic message is found in Luke 15:7, which reads, "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who dont need repentance." It seems to me that there's a chorus...

Well I am sorry that some of you feel I have an Unthankful Heart, but I don't feel under any obligation to impress anyone, especially anyone at Inpop. Five minutes of rehearsal footage? Why bother? Gee, that's as long as Peter Furler's interview. And how many hours did they rehearse? Five minutes, ...

You might want to put the sticks in a shadow box, along with any concert tickets, CD covers, band pictures or anything else you can think of to dress it up. Fairly nice shadow boxes are available are most any arts and crafts store. I got a pretty big one for some space memorabilia that I have that's...

Petra-For-Stryper/Bloodgood/Whiteheart trade???
Hello, all ... long-time lurker, first-time poster. Sorry ... do I apologize for something like that? What's the etiquette? Anyway ... I've got several videos from the '80s -- Stryper in Japan, both Bloodgood releases, Whiteheart, Petra's Backstage Pass (I think that's the name) and I'm sure a few o...
