which Petra songs?

Hey Sue! If I make it to the concert I will definitely try to find you. We're planning on bringing the kids (5 and 7) and were wondering which Petra songs they will most likely play so that I can tell my girls ahead of time. This way on the ride to Buffalo we can play them and have them fresh in the...

I noticed it too...

I don't know that the issue this time is your DVD player because I noticed it too yet my live Aerosmith DVD (You Gotta Move) is all in sync. I was a little disappointed to see that too because I don't want to show that to someone else. Luckily it's only just in bits here and there, but enough to mak...

...

My opinion is that it isn't a money issue because the DVD doesn't have a cheap look to it at all...I think it's more of a style or maybe a compentency issue. Bob's solo comes to mind, not showing John or Bob for half of the time they were talking, close-ups of John that are just WAY too close (and t...

I agree

I agree with you Mountain Man pretty much on everything. I saw it last night and the editing is actually cool in places, but I definitely didn't feel like I was watching a concert as much as other concert vids I've seen, including Captured in Time & Space. As far as Bob's solo goes, it would have be...

I don't have Weird Al's last album, but "Running With Scissors" is pure genius! It's my favorite from him.

thanks Josh!

Thanks for the info Josh! I appreciate it. The reason I was wondering about the total time of the DVD is because they cut things down for "time/length" purposes, but this doesn't seem to make sense. Bob's solo was already quite short, why shorten it even more if there's room for it? When reading Bob...

DVD

Josh, so John Lawry's solo is the exact same? How do they cut it when you can SEE it happening...is that when they use the full screen of static you mentioned? And how about between Creed and Right Place? You can tell listening to the CD that it's not a natural progression. You mentioned a lot of bl...

I agree

The Praise Medley actually rocks more than the Rock Medley (in my opinion). I'm kinda surprised that Not By Sight was chosen for the Rock Medley as opposed to some other better rocking hits they'd had.

dvd

Actually in the description he says it was their last concert in Buenos Aires Argentina. If I could read Spanish better I would attempt to buy it directly from the website posted in another post, which is probably where this guy is getting his copies from.

box set - unreleased material

and don't forget the cut that didn't make it on Jekyll & Hyde, I think it was called "It's a New Day" or something like that.

Hey Josh...great job! I was wondering, is the guitar solo Bob does after Beyond Belief the same one he did on the ZJAM 2 years ago? Later!

preorders

My credit card was charged last Tuesday (November 8th). My experience from pre-orders in the past is that there is a very good chance we'll receive it a couple days early. We can always hope!

Did I read that correctly that the max capacity is 500 people? If so, I'm surprised John agreed to it (based on his previous comments). Sounds awesome though...can't wait till it's released!!

collective soul

I agree with you guys on CS...I think their best lyrics are on Disciplined Breakdown...especially the song Forgiveness. Ed Rowland amazed me with that album. I have all of the albums since that one, but in my opinion they don't measure up to it lyrically.
