Petra 50th anniversary tour

Below is the link to the announcement by Petra of their 50th anniversary tour this fall. I hadn't seen much conservation about this. https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=584173219745372&id=100044580962826&set=a.214074466755251&__cft__%5B0%5D=AZWya40ax91RRtCn10t6uxlcYPuH5Vijwl-Y5CdULww-st62YmiZOMALg...

The Chosen series

Hello all,

I'm a little late to this series, but I'm wondering what others think of "The Chosen" series? It's entertaining, with some creative license that I haven't found offensive thus far. Free to watch without commercials on The Chosen app.

History of new Christian music releases

Hey all,

I'm not sure if I'm one of the last to find this, but this website below has a great deal of new release history. Check out January 1, 1987 for example. Great resource if you want to find some classic Christian rock to sample.

Re: Check this out.

I'm assuming that Huff wrote the music and John wrote the lyrics, based on CD liner notes, but I could be wrong.

Re: Check this out.

Interesting. I wonder if there's anything legally that prevents a songwriter from reusing music from a previously published song and creating a new song with a new name?

Re: Favorite bands

I see what you mean. I don't think you can really be a "leftist" Christian though. I know that lefts and rights are different in different countries (what is a left in America I think is a right other places) but I mean that you can't follow the world and call it Christianity. That I'm-a-world's-hi...

I was thinking of these MIDI files today. I really like Armed and Dangerous. A fun blast from the past.

Re: Well, this isn't good

If only John Bolton and countless other former administration officials shared the same optimism for a second term.... You know, usually the former aids support the President that hired/appointed them. Republican party is due a cleansing and we will witness it. In my experience, people who get fire...

Re: Favorite Petra concert

Yeah, it was a good show. PP2 wasn't my favorite album, but the band performed well, in spite of Bob's absence.
