Re: Christian bands & their secular counterparts

Man this is an old post. I know so many more bands and artists now… I'm thinking of re-doing this, making it more accurate. It'll be called Christian Bands and Their Secular Counterparts 2.0, and I would still like more suggestions yet, if anyone has any more to offer. : )

I have only one Petra cassette: Beyond Belief. I have all the albums on CD and some on vinyl.

My cassette is just sitting there and will likely never get played again so I am willing to send it to you free of charge. Just PM me to make arrangements.
Awesome! Thank you!

Petra cassettes

Is there anyway to find Petra tapes that aren't $16 a piece?? I have CDs from Back to the Street to Petra Praise 2: We Need Jesus . But I would like to replace them all with tapes. So if anyone wants to make a trade or sell them or something, maybe like 16 for all the tapes (2 is about the price of ...

How is everyone?

Hi guys! I haven't been on in awhile so I thought I'd check in on how everyone on here is doing! Everyone seems good, I hope that's true 🙂 What's everyone been up to?

Re: Petra in Steelville, MO

My wife and I went as our anniversary gift to each other (we're both PetHeads! 😁). We did the meet-and-greet dinner before going to the evening concert. It was pretty awesome getting to meet the band members (except John Lawry, who was still recovering from emergency surgery and trying to stay away...

Re: RIP Carman Licciardello

Last night my mom and I were discussing tickets because she doesn't think I should spend my summer money on these really expensive New Order tickets but I said they were gonna be dead by the time I'll ever get to see them, and then she said how Bob Dylan (who I thought was dead for some reason) and ...

Just finished watching, after having bookmarked it some time ago. Nice to see the guys together again. On Fire, Beyond Belief, and Unseen Power. That's my Petra.
Welcome to the zone! On fire is an underrated album imo
And one of the best imo

Re: Yeah so kinda late to the party here

Hi Pat! *waves emphatically* :) I joined in June of 2019, when I first started listening to them and have since collected all their CDs from BTTS to Petra Praise 2. I'm really glad I found this site, and I have no intention of leaving it even if if is sometimes a bit quiet

Re: Being alone

This topic is a little different for me. My wife passed away in 2019, so I was "alone" before this pandemic nonsense even started. I put "alone" in quotes because I still have my three kids, so I'm not lacking in human contact, but I do miss having another adult in the house. Where the pandemic has...
