Re: COME ON GUYS

There isn't going to be any real meat in a 3:30 song. Meat is obtained by a daily reading of scripture and prayer life. I think this says it perfectly. Thanks for the discussion, guys. I've just gotten a part-time job as a college instructor and only PRAY that I recognize all the opportunities to s...

Re: COME ON GUYS

I agree... but when people pull out a CD from an artist that calls him or herself a "christian" artist, I think there is a need for that music to have some significance to the listener. It's like marketing raisin bran with no raisins in it. If the lyrics aren't going to have some significance to Ch...

Re: Don't put on that hat or you'll get gopher ideas!!

Well, I dug into my brain once and found a little gopher running around. He must have made his home there deep in my cerebrum. So anyway, I was sorry for having disturbed the poor thing, so I packed my head back together. Are you sure it wasn't the cerebellum? I think it is the more conducive to da...

I haven't visited in a long time...but will now check in often because of this thread. There's nothing funnier than people trying to explain Kevin Max's lyrics! When you get a pop lyric explained by a botanical process (O, Co2) it's the most hilarious thing in the world! Glad I came back...

I forgot to mention that the best cover I've heard of Lord, I Lift Your Name on High is by Petra. The intro was SpyroGyra-ish--but so much better. I just listened to it again for probably the hundredth time! Awesome!

Oh, I know what consumption is. I just find the word hilarious. I love reading classics and in almost every book, someone dies from it. I dunno why I'm laughing right now. Maybe, I oughta start eating lunch before 6 PM for a change. And I've run out of biscuits again. (Look at al...

Many of them died pretty young of stuff antibiotics would take care of now. I.e., "consumption" LOL. Why were their lungs so weak back then? Mozart apparently went through whatever money he made (more than most, actually) too fast. Thank God for multi-tasking we can indulge our creativity nowadaysï...

You live in L.A., Shell, of course people wear less clothes. Although the Philippines (where I am) is pretty twisted for a tropical country. I wear a tank, cover up with a jacket, and turn the A.C. way up.

Let me arbitrarily oscillate? HAhahahaaha...In how many directions can one oscillate? ROTFCCON!

(For seichu, epdc, etc...)
ROTFCCON = Roll on the floor, coffee coming out nose.

I have some very strange friends who contaminated me with their jargon.

It IS mentioned in at least 3 Bible versions I know. Of course, it refers to the...
