Re: BTTR & radio
When JF hit the first single on non christian radio was "Just Between you and Me." I was watching MTV and they said the new song from a band called DC Talk sounded more like Seal than Seal did! Top 40 radio KRBE and KHMX in Houston played JBYAM a lot. JF was only on KRBE a little. Petra is barely pl...

Re: Hello Petheads... BTTR review and Hello
you are right Greg sounds great. A couple songs should not have been recorded IMO (Clean) but Greg is simply amazing, especially on Grave Robber. There is a horrible soundhe makes on Clean- Man I hate that song.

Re: BTTR Must Be Selling Well
Cmon guys, Pfreak already explained that just because he can download music illegally, he doesn't. Dutch laws are typically going to seem a little left of US laws but ours seem pretty left to most middle eastern countries. Even if you go by Dutch law no one should have access to BTTR unless they pay...

Re: BTTR & radio
Aman to the politics. Good music has always taken a back seat to pop garbage when it comes to radio. Even dc talk got shunned by radio when they recorded Jesus Freak. Yeah they were so shinned that the non Christian top 40 stations played two cuts from that album including Jesus Freak, which helped...

Re: BTTR Must Be Selling Well
From the 5 minutes of research it seems that although The Netherlands is much more accepting of downloading music than the US there are still some rules. You may download pretty much anything you want, but you aren't allowed to burn it to a cd or resell it if you don't own what amounts to a copyrigh...

DeGarmo & Key
I know there are some D&K fans here. They are being inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame along with Johnny Cash, Bill Allen, and the Gospel Gate Quartet. Too bad Dana did not live to see it, still I'm glad for Eddie.

Re: BTTR Must Be Selling Well
I do not know the actual copyright laws of The Netherlands but it was mentioned earlier that if you own a legal copy of a song then you also have the right to copies of that song. Fair enough, plenty of folks in the US kind of believe this too when they proceed to steal the song from a download site...

Re: Roll Call: TBN show
I'll be there, as well, as will my wife... and my mother. Good luck with that. I don't think I would take my mother to a Petra concert, I want to enjoy it not get asked so many questions. "Why does the guitar have to be so loud?" "Why don't that drummer cut his hair?" "Why is that singer da...

Re: Too Big To Fail! CRANK IT UP!
I'm in agreement that the CAJU version is the best version ever right along with the KISS version. Kiss didn't do it justice. Paul couldn't lay a hand on Greg's vocals and in my opinion Bob can outplay Ace or whoever Kiss has now. Man Kiss sure is a lousy band, but their GGRRTY sounds a lot better ...

Re: Too Big To Fail! CRANK IT UP!
That's true. We Exalt Thee is about as simple as it gets and it works for me. It may not be a bob composition but they did record it. On BTTR I've pretty much become obsessed with Grave Robber and More Power To Ya with a side of Back to the Rock. Clean just needs to go- It's the second time to reco...

Re: BTTR Must Be Selling Well
Maybe you'll sing a different song when the RIAA gestapo is bashing down your door handing out summons and lawsuits. Actually, if folks don't stop illegal downloading (stealing) then the problem will fix itself. Artists will stop recording anything so there will be no new material to steal. Have fu...

Re: Where can I get BTTR on CD?
It reminds me of what's going on with Stryper right now though. Their new CD is done, but they are holding off on releasing it until after the new year, because apparently there is a certain time you need to get something released by in order to get the best sales through the holiday season and the...
