It is sad that when see a group not playing well and being supported. Here you have Petra which although the line up change they hold a standard of playing awesome. I never went to a Petra concert saying he did not play well ! That says something!

Brent, if the drummer were doing his solo I would expect to drummer would do his best especially coming from this band. I have seen others secular drummers and he is good but then he is a drummer and star.

I just was at a well known secular group. The drummer did his solo and I was left with thats it! Louie and Paul can blow him out of the water! I was glad blessed that Petra had the best!

Why do I see groups with glass around drums. Does that buff out the sound?

I thought they had 3 GOLD ALBUMS Petra PRAISE THE ROCK CRIES OUT BEYOND BELEIF,and I don't remember the third? I thought it was WAKE UP CALL.

How does artist get Gold albums today?With all of different ways of getting music. Before I think it went by sales.


In your view was Petra popular although not getting support from CCM? Especially around the late 80's-90's

First of Petra is retired not dead. No one has died lately! I went to the concerts pp2 they were nice but seamed to be losing there luster. There is no replacing Bob he is great at what he does. My opinion has been after John L. They have missed the keyboards. I went to BB tour and Wake up call tour...

I just received my cd. The over all cd is nice my favorite song is Only men. It seem that there was something missing. John's voice was awesome but the music too light for his voice.

My wife was sick so I could not go. I am hoping for more opportunity to see John.

What is the chance of Petra doing an Easter album ? I know there was talking about wanting to do one. They could use Bobs studio and do it indie like the II guys album.
