I finally got my Petra concert pics up
They're nothing really special because the venue was pretty small and plain. It made me think about that post a few months back where Wayne Seboa insulted some guy because his lighting rig was too puny, in his opinion, for a Petra concert. I sure wish that guy had been there with his rig at the conc...

I was pretty disappointed when I found that those two songs were never released on CD. I did my best to get clean versions from the cassette digitized for my own pleasure though.
If anyone needs digital copies of those two songs, they can be had HERE.

Hey, look at that. I have a Steve Green greatest hits CD laying right here. Hey, look at that. It has the lyrics to all the songs printed. -------- He Holds The Keys - by Steve Green ------ Death rides blackened clouds across the sky The Son of Man lays down to die With every pounding blow upon the ...

It is a common belief among many biblical scholars that Jesus descended to the place where the old testament saints were to take them to Heaven after His death. Christ is the only way to God. Since His blood had not been shed, old testament saints could not get to heaven yet. Their souls were held i...

Man, when a secular person does something rude, we call a spade a spade. The dude was rude and it's sad that someone was hurt by him. When a Christian is rude, we eat the victim and write a philosophy book about how no Christian can ever say anything without being hypocritical. Maybe that's why Chri...

Most of the CCM is just to bubble gum for me. Here are the secular ones I listen to on a regular basis. Really nothing new music really sucks today. Journey Bon Jovi Def Leppard Stryper U2 BTW most overated band is the Beatles, and most underated is Def Leppard. Wow - we might be long lost identica...

I'll have to make sure I check out those albums, brent. Also, there is a CD recorded under the band name "Los Lobotomys" that is basically one of the best albums Toto never made. I'm glad I picked it up when it came out - I search for it every once in awhile nowadays just for fun and it is pretty ha...

It's normal to associate a singer with a band...I think of Steve Perry when I think of Journey, Peter Cetera when I think of Chicago, and Dennis DeYoung when I think of Styx. These were the guys singing the songs they were playing on the radio. That's true, although truer (is that a word?) for some...

Yeah, that's better than nothing. But, I couldn't sit there without thinking, "This guy is NOT Bob, this guy isn't Greg or Paul, etc." To me that was like watching Lou Gramm minus Foreignor do those songs, or Journey minus Steve Perry, or Sammy Hagar do David Lee Roth era Van Halen tunes. Why jack ...

I have all my Petra CDs ripped to mp3 at 390kpbs for backup purposes (and so I can have them with me at all times without endangering the discs). The only ones I'm missing are the latest praise compilation and War and Remembrance. I'll pick up the former one of these days, and the latter I keep bid...
