Re: Trump Tape
Noam Chomsky offers some quite interesting perspectives on Donald Trump and some of the issues we have been discussing in this thread. To sum up his criticism is that Trump views are either unpredictable, ever changing or outwright wrong and dangerous. Apart from Chomsky's views the program also con...

Re: JDB
I have been following the writings on JDB on other pages and though I do not search for dirt I keep wondering why so many people simply ignore or regard some of his statements as unimportant. Though one should not look for dirt you should not write of dangerous views as unimportant either. I would k...

Re: CPR
The logic is quite simple. None of those guys were a part of the history of the iconic Petra. They were not a part of creating the brand. Most people had an interest in Petra because of what they had been. John was the link to the historical Petra along with Louie. John hired and fired the other mem...

Re: CPR
I agree with you daffyduck7. It simply did not make sence to put David Lichens on the cover of No Doubt. He does not play a note on that record. I feel quite sure they regret that decision this day. I also agree that Wake Up Call did give an impression that things were about to change. Though that r...

Re: CPR
I completely agree with Brent. Though in some cases it makes sence to discuss to what degree a band can change members and remain the same band what happened in that period made me loose all my interest in the band. I gave Lichens and Cooper a try. It was a very big change but I liked it. Seing them...

Re: Trump Tape
Brent, I am not sure that a war is less likely if we are not nice and if we try to justify discrimination as a christian virtue. In my opinion that might as well lead to conflicts.
Should some unthankful refugees be our excuse for not helping people in tremendeous need? Generalycing again?

Re: Trump Tape
Thank you, Shell. I think what you wrote makes you position clear and I agree on some of your points. I also agree with you - at least to some extent - that the internet is not always the right place for a discussion. One point I had in my discussion with Brent was that the discussions about Islam i...

Re: Trump Tape
Let's move back to the discussion about Islam. I was reminded about my discussion with Brent as I watched this youtube video with Mehdi Hassan. I agree with quite many of his points and in my opinion he stresses some of my points in a better way than I myself did. So take the time and enjoy: https:/...

Re: JDB
I don't feel too convinced he was helping misguided guys. I get the impression he was very misguided himself. The article by Trott is quite detailed and in most cases he does provide evidence though there are cases in which I would wish he had told us where he got his information (e.g. the picture)....

Re: Trump Tape
Do you mean to imply that most muslims are violent? Since you say it is their tradition (which at least is partly wrong) and since you say i cannot tell you, the majority misunderstood it that seems to follow. But is that what you want to say?

Re: JDB
I just found this article about Brown searching on google: http://jontrott.com/evangelical-christi ... vid-brown/
Let me know your opinions. Is that really Brown on the picture? If it is...... I don't have words for that...

Re: JDB
I agree with Slick on this case. For me it was an interesting read but not something I found convincing. Though the courts are not without errors I'm not convinced by the interview with JDB. Another interesting part of it was his account of some of his personal views and his opposition to interracia...

Re: Trump Tape
Well, Dan, once again someone in here attacks my person instead of my arguments. It's not decent to debate that way and you completely ignore all of my points. Religious scientists are aware off different possible interpretations and discuss to what degree militarism is built in. So, come on, be fai...

Re: Trump Tape
Yesterday Brent wrote: "It just so happens that all of the people claiming responsibility ARE Islamic terrorists." Today Brent wrote: "Nothing about Islam is peaceful toward the world. The only mandate for peace is with pure believers. If you do not agree with this, you are blind and need to read th...

Re: Trump Tape
Brent, you are now claiming that you don't want a seperation of state and religion? And it seems to me you blamed muslims for wanting to mix religion and politics - or at least you claimed it was more of a political system than a religion. The same goes for you? Or what is the difference? If you wan...
