Re: Favourite Petra Album of the Seventies
Come and Join Us has some really great tunes. The extended intro to "God Gave Rock 'n Roll to You" is awesome. I have a really hard time listening to Washes Whiter Than.

J&H is excellent, but not as good as BB.George Harrison wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 2:21 pmI am surprised there are no votes for Jekyll & Hyde. I thought people loved that album.

Unseen Power tour in Boston at the Orpheum, Wake up Call Tour at Creation, PP2 at Eastern Nazarene College, Greatest Hits Bangor, Farewell in Oakland, ME. Once in Old Orchard, not sure when. The first was the best, got to meet band for the first time, barely got a word out! Newsboys opened for UP to...

1. BB
2. UP
3. J&H
4. WUC
I was really disappointed when WUC was released. I can listen to it now, but I loved the Elefante sound, call me crazy.

Re: Best Petra Album of the 80's
I'd put the first 3 songs of On Fire! Up against the first 3 of any Petra album. This Means War! is a close second.

Re: Petra Youth Choir Collection
Ok, sorry. I should have done a keyword search on this before posting. It's been discussed before. It looks like the volume 2 isn't actually available, but just listed on Amazon.

Petra Youth Choir Collection
I found this record "Petra Youth Choir Collection" on Amazon recently. There are two volumes. I've never heard of them. Does anyone have them? The song list for volume 1 says: Choir renditions of Petra music. 1. Doxology/Praise ye the Lord; 2. Why Should the Father Bother?; 3. Never Say Die; 4. Not ...

Re: CPR
I thought Petra was done after Bob left... As I've mentioned before, Bob never really left. He stopped touring, but he was still an active member of the band through producing, writing songs, and performing in the studio. Mountain Man, Understood. I'll correct my statement to be, I thought Petra wa...

Re: CPR
John Boy, in general I agree with your take that older bands trying to make new music doesn't usually do it for me. Although, I thought Petra was done after Bob left, but then they came back with J&H, which was quite good. I also really enjoy the Classic Petra album and those remakes, not the newer ...

Re: dcTalk
Has anyone been following the "big announcement" from DC Talk that happened yesterday? If you go to www.DCTalk.com you can get the announcement for yourself. Basically, DC Talk fans were assuming that they were going to make a big comeback and have a new album, tour, etc... As it turns out, the anno...
