Re: healthcare

I don't care for the fact that the term healthcare gets thrown all around when what is really meant is health insurance. Getting healthcare is a right. Everyone should have the right to get medical treatment, and most places in America it an be gotten. Health insurance is not a right. It is for tho...

Christian rock was not immediately available on CD, because it was/is a niche market. Most Christian stations were mom and pops anyway, and CD players (1st generation) for broadcast were about $2k, and you needed two. I was working Christian radio at the time. My idiot owner said that CD's were a fa...

It's a formality. The WHOLE CBS organization is left-wing-wacko-liberal. The anchor is a puppet. There will be some recycled face in the seat. The REAL persons to be fired are the producers, director of the news department, VP's, COO, etc. No wonder their ratings are in the toilet. They think that w...

Actually, the bootleg decision has been overturned this month. It is legal to distribute bootlegs....for now. Morally, it is best to get permission to distribute the bands performances and intellectual property (songs). Normally they would be paid for mechanicals (being played over the air waves by ...

Are you talking about mine or his new band? Our songs are being edited now. We will have it out by the end of December, if all goes well. We are awaiting bass parts from Rick Cua (which have yet to be sent to him). After that we are about done. The songs FREAKIN' RRRROOOOOCCCCKKKK! IMNSHO. Louie sou...

There are no cold hard rules for time on stage. It is negotiated. If the promotors can't afford to pay for a full show, or they do not have the time for it, then they negotiate for less time. Sometimes there are unforseen circumstances that limit a bands time on stage. So don't get mad at Petra. The...

I used to love the rain gigs as an engineer. I didn't step foot onto that stage if there was a hint of thunder (the though of having an afro and smelling like burnt hair and chicken doesn't appeal to me). The band gets paid anyway for gigs like that. They most always have an "act of God" clause in t...

I have all his work. But, just as a precaution, the music after "No Room In The Middle" is a little, somewhat...hmmm...Can't explain it. I was not engineered and produced too well, and sounds a little old fashioned. I have it in my collection, but don't really listen to them. His first 4 solo album...

I didn't assume. I was clarifying that he meant where he could purchase, since he had before and had lost them. Plus, I don't think that GXV has anything on cassette anymore, unless it is really old new stock. I so know where he can get illegal copies. I like GXV and don't think that taking his work...

Are you talking about legally purchasing music? You can buy everything that Greg has ever done solo at www.gregxvolz.com. He has a nice site, has sample MP3's from all of the albums.

My first tour to see them play was More Power To Ya', Brady Theater, Tulsa, OK. I got backstage for the load-in, and then had fourth row and center seats for the show. The next year, I saw the Not of This World tour, same venue, samthing. This tour they had bigger lights and sound. The staging and l...

Greg could play guitar; whether he did so on the album or not I don't know. Many times they'll use studio musicians on albums. It didn't happen to say in the credits? I'm curious now to; I'll have to look at who all played on the album. My understanding is that Greg never played guitar on the recor...
