Usually, to diferentiate between the two Johns, Lawry was always referred to as JOHNNY. And as you noted, the proofreader should have picked up on that and written the quote thusly: It was great to see Greg [Volz] and John [Lawry] on the same stage together, says PETRA lead vocalist since 198...

The last point is that some people here will argue and complain about something in heaven. They are never content. This kind of comment is insulting and serves no purpose. You have a choice to buy it or not to buy it. I never said otherwise. I'm just saying that the price is not the most compelling...

When's the last time you were in a Wal-Mart? They have great CD prices. I've bought brand new releases there for as little as $12.95, and some older albums sell for less than $10. At any rate, I don't consider $15.47 for a new CD a particularly good price, more of an average one. When I first saw $1...

That struck me as odd until I realized that he may have been talking about John Lawry. But it's still not quite right because then it reads like the two of them (Lawry and Volz) had never shared the stage before.

Well, you KNOW shipping is always added on... can't get away from that. I know, but I still think it's a little deceptive to advertise a low-ball price then pile on the hidden shipping charges during the order process. But that's marketing, I suppose. I may still order it, though, just on the chanc...

That's what I thought . . . until I realized they stick you with $3.50 for shipping. :?

Man, when a secular person does something rude, we call a spade a spade. The dude was rude and it's sad that someone was hurt by him. When a Christian is rude, we eat the victim and write a philosophy book about how no Christian can ever say anything without being hypocritical. Wow, did you ever mi...

Well, as long as we're talking about what a "Christian" should have done, shouldn't a Christian have humbly removed his lights when asked, forgiven Wayne for his coarseness, and not publically lambasted him on an internet forum? My point is, if you want to get on Wayne's case for being undiplomatic ...

Re: m

I don't understand why anyone even has to "prove" that it was "wrong." Of course it wasn't against the law; it may have even been par for the course. But hopefully in the case of a band that calls itself a ministry, there is a bigger goal than status quo. Maybe I just have thicker skin than most, o...

It looks to me like a head-on shot of the band bowing.

Personally, I'm not even under the impression that what he did was wrong.

Trust me, compared to some non-Christians I've worked with in the media world, what Wayne allegedly said is the very model of humility and tact.

I personally think there are a few that should get their heads out of the sand and into the bible. How can your tour manager say mean things to people and then petra sing on the stage.."God Loves you". But God does love you. Does Wayne's hurting someone's feelings change that fact? Of course not. L...

Sounds like the concert was a blast. I'm a little disappointed that there were two medelys. It has always struck me as a cheap way of trying to get more "songs" into a show, but it's better than nothing I suppose. Wish Volz could have done more full songs--especially some rock tunes. We already have...

Not that that's ever stopped distributors from sticking the consumer with double the price.
