I had hoped at least some of the comraderie and brotherly love these guys had for one another might be expressed through rehearsal film or interviews. Or to have each share from his heart. None of that is on this DVD. This project had the potential to be special. It could have included footage from...

In many ways, I enjoy this DVD more than CITAS. It is not the world's greatest DVD or the world's greatest concert video. It certainly could have been improved. It's obviously unfair of me to start criticizing the editing of the DVD until I've actually seen it. All I know for sure is that I wasn't ...

I still think Petra's fanbase is big enough that they coulda gone independent. But then they woulda had to rely on word of mouth for the rest. One of the reason Petra didn't want to go independent is because it would only cater to their diehard fans which goes against their longheld mission of evan...

But nobody forced them to sign with Inpop, that was something they chose to do for whatever reason. Well, the reason, as I understand it, was that they didn't have too many other options as nobody else was really interested in them. I think their options at that time were: 1) Go independent, 2) Ret...

I would guess "absolutely live" means the album sounds exactly how it sounded to the audience that night. In other words, any overdubs were used only to "repair" the audio, not artificially spice it up.

Personally, I'm thrilled about what's being included on the DVD. My only hang-up is that if the quality of editing is as bad as what we saw in the preview--and based on Josh's review, it sounds like it is--it's going to drive me bonkers. Personally, I blame MTV and U2 from their Achtung Baby days. I...

Thanks for the review, Josh. Sadly, it sounds like the crap editing that was evident in the early "teaser" video made it into the final product. It's also a shame they didn't take this opportunity to extend things by giving us John Lawry's (and Bob Hartman's!) complete solo and more of the talking a...

Re: well then

Apparently many of you think Christians have the liberty to sin without answering to anyone but God? Of course not. I certainly see a lot people here calling you out for being a busybody , and rightly so. There are those who God has placed in the lives of Greg and Becky who will do the work of hold...

Maybe I'm not as picky as the rest of ya'll, but I'll be content with whatever gets released. Heck, it'll be my only chance to see Petra "live" before the end since I was unable to make it to any of their Farewell concerts.

That explains why the video looks like it was produced by people unfamiliar with Petra's music.

Is this a joke, or is there really an album by this title?

Someone asked John at the Murphy concert why Petra didn't play anything from "Back To The Street". He just said the music was "too old". Which is an odd reason because the rock medly contains It Is Finished from Beat the System which is the album just before Back to the Street, and the acoustic set...
