Re: I used Matthew RJ as an example..in a good way
The other day, two church guys came into the shop to buy a PA system. I was not part of the conversation, was busy soldering some stuff, just listening. These guys were talking about the end times, how Revelation is happening now, Israel is at war, the end is near, etc. They were basically building...

Re: I never realized how much the USA wanted to be like Cana
Just because we have our own province that wants to separate ...there you go and have people in Texas signing a petition to secede from the union. Fun Canadian politics fact, our feds used to turn a blind eye to the selling of asbestos from Quebec (don't want to upset the separatists and cond...

Re: I never realized how much the USA wanted to be like Cana
Just as an aside, I sincerely believe that the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution gives a state the legal right to secede. Nothing else in the constitution would prevent a state from seceding.

REFUSE TOO PAY???? About 75% of the revenue and budget for the UN comes directly from the United States. No support from the United States would mean no UN. I feel along the lines as most of Americans that its time the UN pick up their junk and their dictatorship policies and high tail it out of Ne...

Re: Three takeaways from last nights debate
Bush had an international coalition, just not the one Liberals would have approved of. Really, who was part of that international coalition? It lacked any credible backing from the UN. UN is not synonymous with "international coalition". In fact, the UN is now one of the biggest obstacles to Freedo...

Re: Three takeaways from last nights debate
Sure, bush was revered as much as obama is despised. I'll never understand your political system that doesn't give you a choice (if you're Christian there's really only one party to vote for). How can you be happy with that? At least in Canada we've got 4 parties to choose from, and the Church isn'...

Re: Three takeaways from last nights debate
I am truly stunned and shocked ... I never ever heard anything negative said about Bush by any of you republicans ...yikes! There's something new! That is because most liberals are incapable of comprehending the negative things we said about Bush. Don't get me wrong. On balance, I think Bush was an...

No, but your example shows a brilliant capitalist making what money he can on the edges of the system.brent wrote:There is no capitalism in our pending communistic nationalized health care system.

I didn't say she was. I said she was the only thing good about a BNTC show. When I worked in CCM radio, I had to go to concerts to rep the station. That kind of music sucked in my opinion. Becker to' it up the night I saw her. Ah! Gotcha now. Well, I didn't see that particular BNTC show ... or any ...

Re: Carman, seminars, what he says about sound
I know he's the professional and all, but I have to disagree that the volume should always be loud enough to drown out all conversation. I mean, maybe for openers, but I always prefer if the worship moves toward a quieter, more introspective level toward the end. Like I said, I'm no professional. I ...

Re: I just found a job the President created
This is great. I'm listening to local radio, and they're running a commercial for the Obama Care Survival Guide. This law is so great that we apparently need a guide for people, business, and the medical profession to properly understand and deal with it. And some publisher thought it was a viable ...

Maggie B was never in Bash N' The Code, and I may be totally in the minority here, but really liked Jamie Kearny's voice. A little unconventional, sure. But that's kind of what I liked about it.

Re: I can't celebrate Christmas because
Jerusalem was once controlled by pagans as well. God's people took it. The practice of building pagan temples predates (by centuries or maybe even millennia ) the Tabernacle built by the Hebrews, which predated Solomon's Temple. It was a practice God's people took from pagans ... at God's command of...

I can't believe no one has mentioned Zaphod Beeblebrox ! After all ... two heads are better than one! Where's your appreciation for classical literature? I like the president in "Mars Attack" but I can see why a typical republican voter would be opposed to a president who says, "Why can't we all jus...
