That's interesting. I've never tried to make a list like that!

John Elefante doesn't count, since he's never been a member of Petra.
Yes I suppose, but he did produce a number of their albums and greatly influenced their sound, as well as write several songs and sing backing vocals

John Lawry is on keys with the Jay Sekulow band.
Yeah I thought I remembered something about that. I know John Schlitt was.

Re: Collaborations Outside of Petra

The Jay Sekulow band released a number of singles which featured John Schlitt and John Elefante.

Also John Lawry plays keyboards on at least some of John Schlitt's latest album "Go", specifically on the track "Fake News"

Just finished watching, after having bookmarked it some time ago. Nice to see the guys together again. On Fire, Beyond Belief, and Unseen Power. That's my Petra.
Welcome to the zone! On fire is an underrated album imo

Re: Yeah so kinda late to the party here

Thanks guys! @George Harrison yep definitely dig the heavier vibe of JAH, it's on the list for a closer listen. It's been interesting getting up to speed on everything I've missed, which was basically Wake Up Call onward. Digging God Fixation much more than expected, as I mentioned earlier. It's he...

Re: Yeah so kinda late to the party here

That’s been happening recently, which has of course triggered one of my every-few-years Petra kicks, and my discovery of the Zone only 100 years late. I lost touch with the band after Unseen Power, and it’s been fascinating to lurk here for the last few weeks and fill in the gaps. Welcome! I too jo...

Re: Being alone

I'm not really so sick of people as I am of the lockdown. Can't play soccer, can't go to church, can't do anything, it's very boring. Where I live it just got extended another month, seems like it never ends

Re: Favorite bands

I have a hard time wrapping the flag or a party affiliation around the cross and selling it with Christianity. We don't REALLY know what the majority of chameleon politicians are because they change with the wind for votes. The names remain the same but party positions and politics change. You can ...

He either believes or he doesn't, and I don't think he does. If he did, he wouldn't say things like he's a liberal and "inclusive" cause we all know what that implies Well I think it's possible to be a liberal and a Christian, but it's just some of the things he's said I don't think it is Well ever...
