Re: Favorite bands

I know DC Talk were in talks for a reunion of some sort but that fell through and it was said it had to do with Kevin Max. Also the AA gig fell through very quickly after one album due to him not wanting to follow closely with the Christian beliefs the group held. Its been widely known for a long t...

Re: Favorite bands

Sure, I was just trying to reply to die hard and I wasn't sure of what Dan or Brent were referring to. I've been a Kevin Max fan for years now and while the guy is a great musician and is well meaning, I've noticed he doesn't really believe in biblical Christianity at all. Like? Well you'd have to ...

Re: Favorite bands

Like Brent said, read his twitter. I don't have twitter I think they are probably talking about this Interesting how he owns his labels. I'm not particularly bothered by anything I see there. I'm not really into enneagrams, but I know that it's part of some people's faith practice. Sure, I was just...

Re: Do you listen to classical/orchestral music?

I listen to it a little. Dance of the Knights by Prokofiev, in the hall of the mountain king, the four seasons, are some of my favourite pieces. I also very much enjoy film scores, particularly those done by John Williams (especially star wars) and Howard Shaw (lord of the rings has one of the best ...

Re: Favorite bands

I agree, I love the Beatles, Kansas, resurrection band, Daniel amos. Also Phil Keaggy. Great guitar player. He can play so many styles of music and is extremely technically skilled in nearly every style of playing from blues to fingerstyle to rock.

Kevin Max = NUT
I love his music but his beliefs are now so far from biblical that I personally wouldn't even call him a Christian

My new favorite is Charade with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. 8)
Charade is a great movie. Those two were in many great movies in the 40's-60's. North by Northwest is another good one. And also someone said Napoleon dynamite and fantastic Mr fox, both great

Re: Petra Compete Tour list - help add missing dates.

On Petra Praise: The Rock Cries Out , the last two tracks were recorded "live at Trunks Arena." I Googled "Trunks Arena" with no luck. Out of curiosity, does anyone happen to know where "Trunks Arena" was/is? They're fake live recordings. I'm not even sure Trunks Arena exists. The audience is paste...

If you're only 1.5 hours away, please go for all us 10 hours or more away :)
Also go for all of us 36 hours away :)

I'm sure it will be great. John still has pipes and was great when I saw him last year. The only time I've seen him, ended up driving around 10-12 hours to get there
