Re: Well, this isn't good
Well, it's not really about politics, although people are politicizing it for political gain. The core issue is pride and rebellion, which the Bible calls witchcraft, and It goes back to the REAL "first family". I am tired of all of it too and am thankful to have about 25 years left (if I am lucky) ...

Re: Bob Hartman
For a moment it was reading past tense like he passed away. I wasn't ready for that kind of news today.

Re: Well, this isn't good
Yeah, specifics are exactly what got us into this. Specific people don't like specific people in charge and are using specific opportunities to bring up specific things from the past that only affect specific people, in specific situations, specifically when they commit felonies and risk their freed...

Re: The new Petra record of 1984
It’s not only Petra that struggled with identity during the mid-nineties, though. The entire CCM industry as we knew it was coming to an end. The heyday of big tours and of record labels putting money into artists wanting any kind of creative freedom was over. I don't know about that. DC Talk, News...

Re: The new Petra record of 1984
What we have to remember is that the guys were too old to appeal to the young CCM audience, the young audience was into different music, the soccer moms and dads at the time were not going to have much luck selling their band to their kids. Combine all of this with the fact radio would not let Petra...

Re: 1979 Petra Live Audio Miscellaneous
I wonder what Beat The System would have sounded like if JS would have had a hand or two on it..... I've no idea, particularly since I've never heard the album. But I'm sure it was very well done. I thought that Carl Marsh did the synth programming. I've no idea of who played what on the album. I'm...

Re: New Petra Project
You know, at first, I used to think it was the guitar, but it sounds like it could be some manipulated organ. I don't know. Do I get a winning lottery ticket for coming up with the right answer?

Re: The new Petra record of 1984
I'm not saying skip them, I'm saying NSD,MPTY,NOTW, then ND, BTTS, TMW, OF etc.....musically. Criticism that ND isn't "Petra" enough because it isn't as hard as BB or UP or OF....it sounds very Petra if its after NOTW......And to your point, yes you could put WUC between ND and BTTS....musically it...

Re: New Petra Project
I have no idea how close it is, but there was this years ago. Cameron Jones is on a video doing the intro. Ha. $149.00. Things have come a long way. https://www.arturia.com/synclavier-v/overview It's good to see John Slick posting again. I enjoyed conversing with him. I would love to have him play o...

Re: Zoom concert
Our church campuses do that as well in a pinch. There are TV church campuses doing it. This is one aspect of what I do for my business. Churches have encoders and decoders at the campuses, communicating on a church network. This is not the same thing as using Zoom or any other internet conferencing ...
