John Schlitt said he would never offer freshly baked cookies again.
Bit of a strange prize for donating wasn't it?

His custom carpentry on the other hand was interesting

Apologies if it’s been seen numerous times. It’s new to me so I wanted to share in case anyone else hadn’t seen it.

Re: Well, this isn't good

But I continue to harbor a great belief that too many Christians are using Trump as a political savior for a spiritual problem both in their own lives and in the life of this country. Trump cannot stop the culture from turning against the faith and, if anything, more and more data shows Trump is a ...

Re: Bride– The Worm

This is one of my favorite Bride songs, but I find the lyrics sort of confusing. Anyone here know what they mean? Bride— "The Worm __________________________________________ You don't know how it feels to be Me To be sitting on the edge dangling my feet Wondering if god would give his angels charge...

Re: Expression of interest

I'm thinking of starting a podcast to interview Petra members and fans like Pieter (about his Petra collecrion) so we can ask questions that are posted on the forum. I want to get John Slick first ask him a bunch of stuff, find out about his computing etc, first time he played piano etc. Who would ...

Re: The new Petra record of 1984

It’s not only Petra that struggled with identity during the mid-nineties, though. The entire CCM industry as we knew it was coming to an end. The heyday of big tours and of record labels putting money into artists wanting any kind of creative freedom was over. Even secular rock changed. That kind o...

Pretty sure "Killing My Old Man" was recorded for an earlier album, but StarSong was afraid the lyrics would be misunderstood as promoting rebellion against parents. Apparently they changed their mind for the release of Never Say Die.

Re: The new Petra record of 1984

Criticism that ND isn't "Petra" enough because it isn't as hard as BB or UP or OF....it sounds very Petra if its after NOTW......And to your point, yes you could put WUC between ND and BTTS....musically it works.... Yeah. I think ND is a bit underrated. Sure it's not as heavy as the previous albums...

Re: 1982 - Petra Live in Atlanta

Anyway guys we should all try to remain civil in our conversations. Greg and John are both great singers and while some might prefer one to the other we don't want to (even accidentally) cause any animosity between us. Sometimes the meaning of online comments sound harsher than indented due to the f...

Now would be an appropriate time and easier to achieve a Dream Team Zoom concert. No travel or expense involved. Many bands like Sammy Hagar's. and Sheryl Crow's are doing it and they sound amazing. Can we start a petition?
Personally I'd love an online concert
