Napster

And check it out... now Napster is going to unprotected MP3 for track/album purchases, and Sony BMG is taking similar measures. And the genie puts one more toe out of the bottle!

Ward

The fact that Matthew Ward did not appear on your list at all proves that you don't really know what's out there. I challenge ANYONE to sing with greater control or range than Matt. He beats every other name on this list hands down. By the way... where are the girls on these lists? Ashley Cleveland ...

Maybe not completely, but at least for Amazon.com:

drm

Why the hate towards DRM? All DRM does is cost me a CD-R to burn the song and then rip it to an MP3. So instead of a song costing me 99 cents, it costs me $2.50 plus aggravation. As you know, the music industry took digital music seriously far too late to really have any true control over it... the...

Yeah... for a while we were battling the bots by replacing potentially offensive words with potentially silly ones. :) (It's in the management settings if you want to turn it off, Micah)

reviews

All of the reviews I've seen have said that the movie itself falls flat... this is from not-Christian reviews, and even one reviewer who sounds like he is vaguely anti-religion himself. Apparently it's not especially good storytelling from a movie standpoint.

in defense of Tim

Tim McGraw. Unfortunately he is just too execrable for common people like me. Tim McGraw is, to my knowledge, the only country artist to ever cover a Petra song. Be nice to Tim. He does that cowboy music stuff, but at least he knows what kind of music to LISTEN to. Maybe he just does that country t...

Mary

Don't forget "Mary's Song" from Washes Whiter Than. Not a Bob song (it's by Rob Frazier), but definitely recorded by Petra!

Re: Petra and Christmas

Why do you think Petra never did any Christmas music? I understand all the garbage commercial songs, but what about all those great traditional songs. Not to mention that Bob I'm sure could have written one killer song that would have captured the true meaning of Christmas. This comes up every once...

buzzy

I have seen tails on other rockers - Rick Florian wore black tails in 1994 at a Whiteheart concert I went to. Black tails, white fluffy shirt... (or should I say 'puffy shirt' for you Seinfeld fans?). I thought the tails were kinda cool! Steve Perry was another rocker that wore the tails and it bec...

That satirical article is from 2003 (look closely at the URL) and has been posted to the Petra Zone before... although I can't find it via search. So it was before Petra called it quits. :)
