Re: Petra on Spotify

Also, On Fire!, Back to the Street, and perhaps Not of this World are not on Spotify, at least not on mine. They are on mine I'm sad cause I'm missing some Whitecross I envy you then  A number of Whitecross albums aren't on spotify, I only have Nineteen Eighty Seven, Unveiled and Equilibrium a...

Re: Favorite album

Hello there! I like these lists. That's tough to say, but here are some of my favourites: 1.On Fire! Crunchy rhythm and good riffing, albeit slightly unnatural production and a few week ballads and other songs. 2. More Power to Ya. Excellent song writing, Judas Kiss is one of the best songs... Compa...

May I say that Steve green and Rick florian sang/sing for Whiteheart never John Schlitt and what on earth do you "see"?
He is referring to John Schlitt singing for The Union of Sinners and Saints, a band which contains several ex whiteheart members, including Billy Smiley.

Re: Volz & Livgren

Yes I listened to AD also. Another interesting thing to note is that John and Dino Elefante along with guitarists Kerry Livgren and REO Speedwagon's Dave Amato joined forces with former White Heart bassist Anthony Sallee, and the session drummer Dan Needham to make "Revolution of Mind", by John Elef...

Re: Volz & Livgren

Wikipedia says: "Livgren has resumed work on one of his most ambitious works to date, titled Cantata: The Resurrection of Lazarus. It is an epic, orchestral and vocal composition based on the Biblical story told in John, Chapter 11, and is still in production. It has been in development for more tha...

Re: God Fixation: Current Sounding

I used to dislike this album but it has grown on me a bit. Although I prefer a harder, older, more classic rock sound, it's not a bad album. The guitar work is still nice in many places, still has some lead work, and the songwriting is okay. It compares well to other pop/rock albums from that time I...

Huh... so is John Schlitt finished with Union of Sinners and Saints?
No, in fact, The Union of Sinners and Saints is the backing band for this new CCM All Star Review supergroup... At least they will be playing with them at the No Greater Love Festival in Calgary, Alberta.

Re: New interview with John Schlitt

Great interview, watched the whole thing, thanks for posting. I liked the part where the interviewer said he liked some pop music and John just stares at him. His upcoming album sounds really great. 10 songs, at least some of them hard rocking ones, that's exactly what I want him to do. John c...

These 2 old songs are < the other tracks on Washes Whiter Than but > the new singles released so far from the Union of Sinners & Saints. Fight me!
I think I Still Believe was a cover. Anyway, I thought I Still Believe and One More Shot were good, though not extraordinary.

Re: Washes Whiter Than Missing Tracks

They probably sounded less Petra than the other tracks.

The whole album was not very Petra-like. Not that DT and Revival were either.
