Very well then, I'm sorry I misunderstood your comment and perhaps my perception of an overall negativity toward classic Petra by several people here has made me overly sensitive to some comments. If that's the case though, it's all the more reason for me to stop posting.

Preacher this isn't about you, it's about Petra. You have been around here years, long enough to know that this forum has never been completely peaceful. The zone is full of Christians that are passionate, and Christians that like to debate. That's what makes the zone the zone. Lets get back to the Subject?

I wonder how John feels about this venture? Hopefully he's not offended. I like both versions of Petra myself. I'm glad they are doing this. Hopefully Bob will still do shows with John also.

Anyone know where I can get a good burger?
Where do I come up with them???

This is exciting!
Beyond Belief was my first album and what's cool about finding that band at that right age is it's history.
Petra became everything to me when I heard John singing...I wen't back and destroyed my Bon Jovi and Def Leppard albums.
Literally, it was summer vacation and I threw them in the fire at our trailer...they were coppies...I'm not completely psycho

Anyway, I thought that was it...Beyond Belief.
I was so wrong and what came next at the time was the War & Remembrance collection. I was shocked to hear Greg's voice because my Petra was John, but the really cool thing was that in one band I found two. It just never gets old for me to throw on Washes Whiter Than or More Power To Ya and then crank it up with Beyond Belief, Unseen Power or This Means War!

The biggest thrill as a Petra fan was when I first put on the Farewell DVD and saw John and Greg on stage signing together. Listening to those songs as a kid I often wondered what they would sound like with John or with Greg...I got my wish and it sounded pretty awesome! I just hope I'm lucky enough to attend a concert in the next year. They better make some stops in Canada or they'll have one unhappy fan to deal with

Can't wait to hear the new album, watch the DVD and see a show...I hope this is the beginning of a few more special Petra moments!
