There are some REALLY good songs on these records... The only thing that I think stopped them from being as good as they could have is that they had weak vocals (no offense to Bob & Greg [Hough]).
Does anybody think we'll see anything from them on the next Classic Petra release?

Come and Join Us was a ton better than their first album, both vocally and otherwise. I really struggle to listen to the first one. I don't think either of them would be considered from the Classic Petra era so I wouldn't expect to see anything. Could be surprised though.

I totally agree, I think musically the first album is strong but the vocals bring it down. I would love for some of those songs to be updated. The 2nd album is a little better vocally.

I agree, the vocals in the first two albums are not the best, but those two albums were the start of the legend...

In spite of the vocal issues, I love the first two albums. They are quintessential 70's rock and roll (which I love) and they contain some of the most unique songs Petra ever did.
