I got thinking about what I would do if I were coming up with the setlist for Petra's farewell tour. It would have to have a good representation from their whole catalogue. So I decided to see what I could come up with. To fit things in, I used a few medleys. And I have every album represented. Here's a rough sketch of how it could go:
Test Of Time
The Noise We Make
A Matter Of Time
Creed
Praying Man
Praise Medley - Let Everything That Hath Breath/Somebody's Gonna Praise His Name/You Are I Am/Adoni/Praise Ye The Lord
War Medley - Sight Unseen/It Is Finished/This Means War
Beyond Belief
It's All About Who You Know
Mellow Medley - Why Should The Father Bother/For Annie/Grave Robber/Road To Zion/No Doubt
I Waited For The Lord On High
King Of Kings
Lord I Lift Your Name On High
Dance
Right Place
We Need Jesus
Parting Thought
Encore
Jekyll & Hyde
He Came, He Saw, He Conquered
Ask Him In {altar call}
How Long
Maybe there's some potential in that, who knows. If you were making a farewell setlist, how would you have it go? Post away!
Your Vision of a Farewell Set List
I couldn't wait. Went straight to the collection. I know this is fantasy but sure is fun to dream!
I would like to see them open with Chameleon. They opened with that in St. Louis when John first joined the band. He wore some funky white jacket with tails. Great memory huh???
Here are the remaining songs I would like to hear live one more time:
J & H
Woulda, Shoulda
Test of Time
God Gave Rock and Roll (Maybe end with this one)
Without Him We Can, Praise Ye, Let Everything, Somebody's Gonna, Who's on the Lord's Side
More Power
Road
Not of this World
Beat The System
Finished
War
Came, Saw, Conquered
Fired Up
Take Me In (I like this one as a church worship song)
I Will Call
Beyond Belief
Dance
Sleeping Giant
Underneath the Blood
Think Twice
Show Your Power
Noise
Voice in the Wind
Grave Robber
Think they can get all of these in during a 90 minute set? Maybe they should go for 3 hours. Springsteen did that! Why not Petra?

Too Long
Is there enough time in one day, for my list....I would say every album since Beat The System and end with It is Finished....But that would be an all day concert!!!!
