Radio Station giving away concert tickets

Post by js3971 » Wed Oct 26, 2005 8:36 pm

the radio station that is sponsoring the concert in Irving is having contests giving away tickets to the concert on the 18th. Go to the contests link to see what day they are doing this. If you don't live in the Irving area, you can listen online. Good luck.

Ticket types

Post by shaabyi » Thu Oct 27, 2005 8:39 am

Are you guys getting the artist circle tickets or general admission?

I was told general admissions can stand by the stage. IS that what you guys have been told?

Who are you talking too about these special tickets? I was told that all tickets were general admission and the same price. There would be no reserved seating.

I really don't know what those are for. I will email Rich and see if he has any info on those.

OK, my understanding is that general admission can be in the standing 'pit' area. Ask him that as well.

The website and e-mail I got after I purchased my tickets...

Post by petra4ever » Thu Nov 03, 2005 6:30 pm

says "All tickets sold will be held at WILL CALL, no tickets will be mailed."
However, mine was mailed to me. I don't know why, but it's better this way -- that way I don't have to stand in line to get my ticket.
I had a bad experience when a circus came to a sister city. My wife bought tickets by phone, and was told to pick them up at the Will Call window. When we got there 30 minutes before the show, every ticket window was the same and we had to wait in line with everyone else who was buying tickets (which took forever.) By the time we got into the circus we already missed 10 minutes of it.

I'll be there with a couple of friends, Mike and Mike. One of the Mikes will have his son there, Levi, also. We plan to leave Brownwood around 3:30, so we should be there about 6. My name is Jimmie and it'll be cool to see some of you there.

I'll be there. We'll have to find some way of recognizing each other before the show. This will be my first Petra concert!

It will be cool to meet you guys. I am about 5'10, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses. I'll be there with two guys names Mike. One of those Mikes is actually named Michael Jackson. poor guy. You'll be able to tell one of the Mike's is not from Texas, he's from Wyoming. Maybe that will help you identify me a little better. Also, I'll have a Mary Kay sticker on my back window of my car. My wife sells the stuff and used to drive that car all of the time. But now she's earned a car through Mary Kay, a red Pontiac Vibe. It's not my first choice, but hey it's free, and they pay 85% of the insurance. Anyway, I hope to meet some of you guys there.

I think this will be one of Petra's best visits to Texas in a long time and glad they have a great place to play at this time in Texas. I know where the church is,and drive by there quite often. Don't mistake IBC for a Mall, the place is huge and I understand it can seat 2200 people. Lets get ready to roll Petra fans! It's on! Lifeway in Arlington was almost out of tickets when I went to get mine a few days ago,but I don't think they will sell out this venue. Look forward to seeing ya'll there Friday. Buy a freind a ticket and wish Petra a Great Farewell from Texas.

God Bless

I'll be there (which is more than I can say for my general presence on this board) -- driving all the way from San Angelo! My last attempt to see Petra (in Grand Prairie) failed miserably, so I'm quite nervous about this one, it being my last chance and all, but my college roommate works for Power FM, so hopefully it'll all work out...

I'll have glasses on and probably be wearing a Demon Hunter T-shirt. I'll be with the big dude, his bald brother and our short, spiky-haired friend...

I will be the Petra freak at the front of the line (hopefully), so I can press my body up against the stage ready to rock!!
