Neither Farewell June nor Bread of Stone played in Enid, although they were in town (in the hotel, I think).executioner wrote:I know when the promoter for the Irving, Tx show was trying to get Petra they tried the same thing. It was suppose to be like a celebration for Petra and their Ministry, but they were told that the other two bands were offically part of the tour and were under contract to play all shows that Petra played, so they all were there. Wayne and his boys won out in the end.

Bread of Stone was onsite, MJ. We fed them.
I'm still not sure what happened but one of the guys said that they thought they were playing at 7:00 but guess noone told them that they were playing at 3:00 and they showed up at 3:30 for soundcheck. Go figure.
I was disappointed about Sarah Brendel not being there in Enid. She's really good and she's got a great testimony. Its unfortunate that she was dropped from the tour........big mistake in my opinion, but...oh, well, I'll leave that one alone...
Yes, Bread Of Stone's tour bus was the transportation for Petra on this tour and maybe for these last two concerts the band's getting a chance to play with Petra one more time. They said that they truly enjoyed being able to do this tour and were disappointed that Enid was supposed to be the last show for them - and then they didn't even get to play.
So, maybe they worked things out and get to play now, which is cool for them.
