I brought this up a while back, but it is a bit more timely now.
This Saturday (the first Saturday in May) will be the running of the 132nd Kentucky Derby. One of the horses scheduled to run is named Bob & John. He is actually one of the better horses entered, having won a half dozen races. His sire is Seeking the Gold, and his dam is Minister's Melody (is THAT not cool?)!
BTW, John got quite a kick out of it when I told him. So, if you happen to be close to a TV Saturday afternoon, you might want to sit back, sing a chorus of "My Old Kentucky Home" and root for Bob & John.

I wanted to place a bet on that horse just because. I still do. Kismet and all that (if I believed in kismet that is).

And as an added chuckle, Bob & John's granddam's name is:
My Song for You!
Did you tell John all THAT, Bridget?
