A few days ago I managed to get hold of an original LP copy of the album Xavier. As many of you know it's an album from 1982 with Greg X. Volz on lead vocals, under the name of Xavier.
I've updated the page on my website about this album and I've added the lyrics of the songs. Hopefully I'll have the music available on .mp3 within a month or two. But don't expect anything spectacular. It's rather mellow, with some rocky tunes. The lyrics are not very original. But still, it's Greg X. Volz on vocals. And we all love that, don't we?

Stay tuned, cause these tracks will soon be released digitally. Jonathan Fitzwilliam has given me permission to release digital files of the LP along with scans of the artwork.

Down the corridor or life in between our death and birth
We may start to lose our way in the search to find our worth
Our value comes in the fact we live
Life is a gift only God can give

Sounds great. Thank you!

Does anyone have a LP of Washed Whiter Than? It would be nice to get this kind of quality on the 2 tracks missing from the CD.

80's guitar rock fronted by Greg Volz? Yes please! Too bad only a thousand copies were pressed, because from the little I've heard so far, this thing could have made it big if it had been given a wider release (it reminds me a lot of Chicago).

By the way, outstanding quality of the MP3 conversion.

It's kinda like Washes Whiter Than part Deux, except for the lyrics. It's pretty weird hearing Greg sing lyrics like:

There's too much waitin'
And not enough lovin'
For me to be hangin' around
And there's too many ladies
For me to be wastin' my time
On your merry-go-round

It kind of reminds me of when I heard Head East for the first time and hearing John sing Love Me Tonight. But of course, he wasn't a Christian then.
