John & Bob in Norway - please pray

Post by sue d. » Thu Jan 11, 2007 9:16 am

John and Bob are leaving for Norway today.... please pray for a safe flight over, and that everything goes smoothly for the two of them as they travel between the two promoters in the two cities.

They have a performance on Friday, another on Sat., and a church service on Sunday (with a possible afternoon appearance too), returning on Monday.

John & Bob have traveled all over the world time & time again as Petra, but now it's just the two of them - no road manager or anything like that going along.

I've booked a few dates in Europe for John before, but this is the first time taking it 'the rest of the way'; booking the airfare, scheduling between the promoters and all.

Please pray that everything works out and for God to receive all the glory.

I am looking forward to this concert at Flekkeroy. Do they have a performance on Friday also?? I didn't know about that...
I wonder if they will be selling their new album here in Norway?
I hope so :-)

The Friday date is a private function for Seaside Fest.

No, they won't have the new album along, but it's being processed, printed and produced as we speak.

So it will be out very, very soon!

Prayers have been answered...!

Magne, the Sat. promoter gave me a call this morning to say that he met Bob & John at the airport, along with Morten, the Fri night promoter. The guys arrived on time and are doing well, transport is all arranged between the two promtors and everything's looking good.

I see the power of the praying man...

:D It was so fun I remember. A videoclip from this:

Moments after that, John still did'nt know where they were, until Bob said': "Thanks for being here in NORWAY! And we are so glad to be back here... in Norway!"
:D

A great concert!

It's now only a few hours till the concert in Flekkeroy church, and I am recharging the battery to my camera. Check back on my website later tonight for more details, and some pictures from the event.

what?

Post by trodLAN » Sun Jan 14, 2007 12:39 am

Wow...what can I say...It was an amazing concert last night. Now I am up early, as I shall attend the sermon at the church where Bob Hartman is going to speak. Looking forward to that!
I have now published my pics from Flekkeroy Church - Norway!
Check them out. I didn't take so many pictures, as I were more busy with my camcorder. I will later today make a videosample of "Why Should The Father Bother..." available for download. That was a nice one!
I managed to get a very good digital 16:9 videorecording of the whole show!

Check back for further updates!

Hi Trod,

nice shots!

Their concerts ARE amazing, as you say. What we all really need to do is to GET THE WORD OUT that John and Bob are NOT retired, but are here and available to go out to churches, groups, festivals - anywhere they are needed.

Please remember to spread the word - especially if you've seen one of the concerts - you KNOW how wonderful, both musically and spiritually, these concerts are.

Trodlan, did you make it to the church service? How did that go?
