This is just too funny. I'm sitting here laughing my fool head off! I couldn't find entertainment like this in the secular world if I tried.

Shell, you have had to pry people apart before. You're a real peacekeeper!

That's me, the peacekeeper. :D I was actually only kidding Michael and Outcast, and I think they were kidding each other too.

This last thread has actually been pretty mild compared to some we've had, I don't know if you were posting when it's really been heated around here.

By the way, Outcast4Him, do you have a name? I feel kind of weird calling someone Outcast. :?

PetraFan4Life79 and Shell, this is the post you were looking for. Sometimes these posts are hard to find because the titles are not always indicative of the content they contain.

Not to mention the ones that stray off topic!!

Would anyone believe me if I said I wrote "Hard Day's Night" and some dopey group called the Beatles stole it from me?

Didn't think so. :D

This is something that really happened with my band:

Our pianist was playing some progressions that were strikingly similar to, though not identical to those in the song "Clocks" by Coldplay. You know what i'm talking about?

Anyway, the conversation went like this:

Me: "I like that, it sounds a little like Coldplay."
Him: "Co-whaat?"
Me: "Never mind."

Unless you're prepared to call Bob Hartman a liar, I'd reckon that it really is a coincidence.

What was it Solomon said? Something about "nothing new under the sun"?

Susannah wrote:"I Am on the Rock", which sounds just like Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me".
Actually, they sound nothing alike. Well, except that they're both arena rock anthems, I don't think the songs have much else in common as the melodies are distinctly different.
