In Case You Are Coming to the IIGuys Bedford show...

Post by calicowriter » Thu Apr 19, 2007 10:43 am

You should know that you will not find directions to the address listed on the websites for the church (Community Baptist Fellowship). They list the address as being on Fellowship Drive, but Mapquest, Google and Yahoo do not find this street. After some research, I found that if you put the following address in as your destination, you will get the correct directions:

442 B J Blvd
Bedford, IN 47421

Hope to see a bunch of you there! :D

Here's some comments that I was asked to post by someone who was there and who is having a hard time logging on ("Tutor23") :
John's voice sounded great! And Bob's guitar playing - absolutely
mesmerizing! I was amazed that one man could produce so much beautiful sound from a single acoustic guitar.

My 12-yr-old son commented, "Wow, it seemed like at least two, maybe even three, guitars playing at once! How did he do that!?" I must agree. These guys are world-class musicians. And what a blessing to get to tell them in person after the show how much their music ministry has meant to me personally for so many years. I was saddened only that so few people were there to appreciate their wonderful performance. They deserve to have many hundreds at every show.

As he said, the music was terrific, but sadly, it was a small audience. The promoter did a decent job in advertising, but he said it's a very denominational area, and getting people out to events is difficult.

However, the church the next morning was full, and the service was wonderfull. John and Bob did all the music, Bob gave the sermon, and people were blessed.
