I can't wait any more... I'm not quite ready to put this up on my site yet, but I want to show it to you guys now! Check it out:

"Oh wow," you say, "you are able to make a Web page with two links on it. That's great, Mike." Well, click either the IE or the Netscape/Mozilla/Firebird link (Opera can do it too, but I haven't bothered to try to construct the link yet) and have a preview of the new "take-it-with-you" feature I've been working on. It's kind of like a mini-Guide that you can open up any time and see if there's new news or whatever; you can also use it to search Amazon.com or ChristianBook.com at any time, no matter where you are on the Web. The IE link disappears when you close it, but when I'm done I'll have a link that you can bookmark in your browser.

What do you guys think? It's also quite possible to create a bookmark directly to the "search" page, and I'll probably do that eventually, but to me the news page is the one most likely to be of interest to Petheads.

Thanks for the link! I thought this would be nice for people who just want to do a quick check in sometimes... you don't actually HAVE to load the whole site up. And I've already found the search part useful myself... I do a lot of reading on Amazon when I'm researching new games for our Gamecube to see if I think Mikey can play them. (Can you believe his favorite so far is the old arcade version of Rampage???)
