I'll be there! (Now isn't THAT incentive for you all to come?)
And speaking of the concert, I came across this article in a local newspaper:
Concert set at New Song Church
February 15, 2008
sun staff
New Song Church at 151 E. Briarcliff Road in Bolingbrook will host a concert by John Schlitt at 7 p.m. March 1.
Schlitt is the former lead singer of PETRA.
Tickets are available at John's Bookstore, Family Christian Bookstore and New Song Church.
For more information, call New Song Church at 630-739-2824 or visit www.newsong -church.com.
Gee, I didn't know John had a bookstore in Bolingbrook.

Something you DIDN'T KNOW about him? Better get this down and put it in your book!
(the store only sells Petra products, btw)

Let's see...just did a Mapquest route to Bolingbrook, IL.
5 hours (one way) + piece o' crap vehicle = no go.
Plus, it's on a Saturday. At my job, I have to give my boss at least a month's notice if I need a weekend off, otherwise forget it.
I'm praying for a John Schlitt concert date in Iowa.

I will be there, and am bringing a few of the old guard Head East fans, as well.
