Wow, that interview was actually interesting. Most radio guys are so insipid, but it was great how it seemed John got to do a majority of the talking.

Ha ha, "Warsh Whiter Than."

I didn't know Bob called John while Petra was still touring with Greg.

I guess its interesting how when John was so overjoyed about singing for Petra, Bob bursts his bubble and tells him to pray about it, and it's like a return to earth. I guess I often think that something could be so obviously from God and bring so much joy that I wouldn't even consider praying about it...

And its amazing that it had been so long that John sang while sober. I guess once you get used to doing something one way, you figure you can only do it that one way.

"Warsh" is a definite ILLINOIS thing.... I have a neighbor who grew up in IL, and she always said the same thing.... 'I gotta go and hang out the warsh.'

Always made me laugh... So does John.

Also alot of fans do not realize but "Back to the Street" was fully recorded(without John's Vocals) before CITAS was recorded. BTTS was recorded in August of 1985 while CITAS was recorded in November 1985.

It's an Iowa thing too. My Dad used to say "warsh" all the time.

He also used to pronounce "sink" as "zink"...as in, "Go put my coffee cup in the zink.".

Hey Pears - I was just in Des Moines this past weekend for a dog show. Didn't know you lived there until now...
