Petra Praise 2: We Need Jesus - Guitar Tablature

Hi everyone,

I've been looking for the guitar tab songbook for this album for about 2 years with no luck (At this point I'd darn near be happy with the regular piano songbook that just shows chords above the music!).

I contacted Hal Leonard since they are local - to no avail. I even went so far as to write Bob about it. His best suggestion was to post about it here and see what you fine folks might know of.

So, if anyone here knows of where I could get a copy of this book (I'd even accept zerox copies!), or even the complete (and CORRECT) guitar tablature for this album in some other form, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

Fantastic!!! I'm still hopeful that someone will get me to the actual tabs, but this is a major step forward! Thank you soooo much!

This is the only songbook there is for We Need Jesus. There is no guitar tab book, just this one with piano chords, but it does the job.

Really? I could've sworn I saw one once (when I wasn't yet looking). Hmm, well that definitely changes my direction on this going forward. Thanks for the info!

Have you searched the web for tabs? I know there are a ton of sites out there. Although, I've never found a chord chart on the web that was accurate. A college professor with masters degree couldn't get the chords for No Doubt exactly right. I personally wouldn't have much faith in the tabs being exactly right either, unless they were done by Bob himself.
If you get the book, you can at least guarantee that you'll be playing the right chords.

Yeah, I've scoured tab sites, and there isn't much in the way of Petra to be had at all, and much of it is very iffy. I think the best thing I found was a snippet of Judas Kiss that is accurate, but nothing that was even close for the We Need Jesus stuff.
