Yeah, there's different tastes out there. Breathe in is cool but not on my favorites list. I was a fan lllllllloooooooonnnnngggg before NO DOUBT, so I wasn't a newly gained fan b/c of that album. I was just a long-standing Pethead who loved that album and appreciated it immensely as a continuation of Petra's long-standing tradition of solid, high quality rock music along with the clear, penetrating Biblically sound lyrics I've always respected them for.
One more song from NO DOUBT that is not often mentioned by fans as a favorite but has specifically ministered to me bigtime is...
Think on These Things - the battlefield in the spirit realm is the mind. This song comes from one of my favorite passages in the Bible - Philippians 4:6-8 and reminds listeners to wisely choose our thoughts and not allow our minds to stray off the straight and narrow.
Anyone else like this song?!

I agree with you LexingtonPethead.
I have nothing against "no doubt". In fact it was the 2nd album I got.
its songs are "a true rock album done for young guys".
The song "no doubt", was and still is a great HIT and it'll always be.
There is no time I listen to this song without crying...
of course, I'd like that petra go on in "wake-up call" style. there is
nothing like it.

different voices
Breathe In is an awesome song - it doesn't rock in the respect of being hard and heavy, but it's probably by a long shot the best song on Double Take which is one of my least favorite Petra albums. I like how someone else (Pete Orta) sang leads on it - John has a crazy-awesome voice but I don't want to hear just John singing all the time. I mean, Audio Adrenaline trades vocals between Mark Stuart and guitarist Tyler Burkum - their voices contrast, yet they are equally good. The lead-voice trade-off was one of the very few things I liked about their Worldwide album. (I think Stuart also plays guitar on Audio A albums, so it's like they're both doing the same thing)
