I'm guessing the reason there are no songs from "Revival" or "Farewell" is because they are on InPop and whoever is putting this out could not or did not want to obtain permission from InPop. However, I definitely think "Enter In" and "If I Had to Die for Someone" should be on there to fully represent those years. I am glad to see "Just Reach Out" on there -- at least John will get a little bit of royalty money from the thing.

Jekyll and Hyde was released on inpop and it's on there, so I'm afraid that theory won't work.

I can hardly believe that have this listed, because Hastings usually isn't very good at it, but check out the following website. They seem to have it in the order they will appear on the CDs.

That doesn't seem right. They are all in chronological order except for the last three.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It could be a mistake, or there could be a significance behind them, maybe because Bob wanted it that way or because of something specific or special Bob said about those songs. I don't know, it may not be any of those things, or maybe Hastings just has it wrong.

PP2,God fixation,Double Take,Revival are nice albums but as far as Petra goes they are crap because some of us wanted hard rock like TMW,OF,BB,UP,WC,ND,J&H back then and it was a bad move on the record labels part and cost Petra populatity and rock reputation.

I am so happy Jekyll & Hyde came out :).

If this is the songs that Bob picked I'd be shocked; There are way too many ballads on there. I pray that this thing is wrong!

St_Augustines_Pears wrote:Bob Hartman picked these songs, right? And he's writing the liner notes, right? Yet, the balance of songs is way off. See what I mean:

BEAT THE SYSTEM: 4 songs represented
BEYOND BELIEF: 4 songs represented
Except that those two albums are arguably the best two albums Petra released and should have the greatest representation.
