His talk of wanting ownership was on his blog which has since has been deleted. His comments were there in black and white since mid 2004; They were somewhat like he wanted more of a roll and rights in the band, and he was told where to stand on stage and how to play. If you have ever seen his blog you would know that Tim is a very unique individual in that sometimes he speaks very openly about alot things that could be taken politically incorrect. He is very passionate person and will speak off the cuff.

I'll give the original poster the rest of the day to edit his post before I lock the thread.

Ah come on now. It shows people a few things.
1. Music is a hard business.
2. Christian music is no better.
3. Things aren't all that they appear in our fav bands. In fact, it is their struggle and internal chaos that often simultaneously contributes to their best work in our eyes, and the worst of times in theirs.
4. Some of us are passionate, blunt, forceful, etc. It is what drives us. We charge hell with a waterpistol. I can relate to Tim in this way. I know some pastors that can as well. We just have to learn to exercise grace and gentleness. Very hard.
I don't know anything about this situation. I don't want to. It doesn't matter. But it seems like a lack of communication to me. If I had the choice of hiring a full band or taking a the full band minus their bass player, and adding Tim, I would take the band's bass player. You NEVER split up a good drummer + bass player combination that is tight are telepathically connected.

The original post is deleted. If someone puts something out there in cyberspace good intentions or otherwise. I would think that it is fair game for speculation otherwise keep it off of cyberspace. If it was a "private" matter that was taken care of privately it should have never ended up on myspace. I have no ill intentions toward John or Tim as the original post only held speculation. I love both guys as brothers in the Lord and only was curious as to what was going on. Like brent said it just shows a few things about the music industry. Sue thanks for the politeness in asking for the edit/delete some boards just "censor" what they don't want others seeing. Again no ill intentions made.

I doubt anyone thought you had ill intentions, but rather, that you stumbled upon something and were curious if others had any more insight. But, as winterlens and others said, speculating on things like this can often lead us down a road we shouldn't be following.
I agree with Sue that since Tim removed the post, it is best that we put this to rest as well. With that in mind, this thread is officially locked.
