The Petra Zone

I am on a 17" monitor and it is better, all though there still is a scroll bar of an inch or so at the bottom of the browser.

What is that?

The logo looks like something I've seen at http://www.flamingtext.com.

That's where the spinning johnwschlitt.com name and the Ask & Answered flaming text on jws.com was created.

Here's an idea for the description. Instead of "Talk about the great band Petra," how about this (which is what I have on jw.com):
"The Petra Zone - The Official Home of the Petheads"

"Official" gives the Zone it's own special identity.

It probably looks similar because Micah used The GIMP, which is the same software flamingtext.com uses in the background.

The first multi-page thread @ the new Zone. Cool.

But who will be the first person to break three digits on posts? Doug (String) and I are running pretty close on total posts at the moment. We're the only ones who have gone into DOUBLE digits so far! hehe

The only thing you can't see when you read is who posted. I like that much better than when I had to keep sliding the thing to read any post. I thought you were going to tell me it was me. I know sooooo much about poters. NOT.

I have a LOOOONG way to catch up to my record 5040 posts on the old Zone...

I'm viewing on 800x600 with a 17" monitor, and I too have an annoying 1" scrollbar at the bottom.

These old eyes must stick with the 800x600 res, so don't suggest going smaller! I view that at work, and it's really straining. So far, no glasses, and I want to keep it that way!

Looks like if we can make the logo about 80 pixels narrower we can make all the whiners happy. And believe me, Sue will complain about horizontal scroll bars until they are FIXED!!!! hehe

Ok, now you're seeing a logo that Stephen e-mailed me.

Any preferences? I guess this one is cool because it's narrower and contains themes from Petra albums.

Also, remote avatars have been enabled.

Site slogan also changed as per Sue's request.

I like that logo. Look real cool.

It is a keeper. Would look good on a T-shirt too.

I saved it as a .tif image first before I made it a jpg so if someone wants to put it out for T-shirts to help promote, just let me know.
