Re: John - Back to Norway
I'm guessing John probably didn't have a lot of say-so, especially since it was outside the U.S. Promotors and so on probably have more say-so in that than we might realize. We need to remember the bands/artists don't actually book the concerts. Just saying.

Re: John - Back to Norway
I asked John after the concert if he had lost control of the band, and he laughed. Actually, I don't think he had lost control, but he intended so on stage.
After all, it was just the band having some instrumental fun, and it followed after the drum solo. What guitarist has not played "Smoke on the water" before?
John said some very wise words after the medley, about rock music in general. After all, it was just about having some fun, and the audience loved it.
Some of this humor reminded me a bit of the humor from "II Guys from Petra". After all, there was a limited time for John to play, and I guess that stressed it a bit.
The band seemed to have a very good time on stage, and I was so happy watching them! I talked to some of the band members after the concert - They were very pleasant guys! I hope they will have fun in the future also!

We should keep in mind too--Secular music in and of itself isn't right or wrong. There are plenty of people who wouldn't dream of listening to that stuff who don't have hearts for God.
It's the heart attitude behind it.

Re: John - Back to Norway
Some of you might be hoping I will post more videos from TakeOFF festival in Norway.
Since the promoters are doing a Pro-Shot-Production of the show,
and have put much money into this, - I will not compete with them. (They know who I am).
I want to play nice, and it's up to the promoters (and John Schlitt) if there are released more video from this show.
