I hate moshing. I will never understand why people pay money to go jump around to music when they could do so for free in their room. I also don't understand why the mosh pit can't be at the back of the room so that those of us who actually want to watch the band play can do so without getting knocked over every 30 seconds.

Same reason you go outside and be with people for other reasons. Unless I have vastly misunderestimated your social development.separateunion wrote:I hate moshing. I will never understand why people pay money to go jump around to music when they could do so for free in their room.
Fine, go see Fernando Ortega and Steve Green. (Both phenomenal in concert, btw. When the Fern-dogg busts out the accordian, it's magic.) Plus, you can eventually watch just about any concert video on Youtube...I don't know...for free in your room?separateunion wrote:I also don't understand why the mosh pit can't be at the back of the room so that those of us who actually want to watch the band play can do so without getting knocked over every 30 seconds.

moshing
Personally, I like what they say at Creation Festival every year. "North and south, not east to west" and, "we're here to point people to Jesus, not the local medical center".

I generally don't listen to music like that and there is a limitation in watching youtube videos: I only get to see what the cameraman chooses to show me.Jonathan wrote:Fine, go see Fernando Ortega and Steve Green. Being with annoying people is so overrated. However as noted, mosh pits do have their value in that you can punch said annoying people and get away with it.
