I have to say this is my first album I am buying in FLAC. Downloading to my phone right now. I just loved the audiophile and nerds section that the FLAC selection was found in. Can't wait till it is finished downloading and then I unzip it. I am excited.

Hey, the FLAC files are 16 bit 44kHz just like the CD. Wasn't they supposed to be 24 bit 192 kHz?

I haven't yet, but I did download the album artwork...it looks great! It's all rock-n-roll except for the pic on the back that to me is John's "Tony Bennett" pic. By that I mean the pose and style, not that he actually looks like Tony Bennett

This is the first album I've bought since... I don't know when actually. My first impressions are very positive but I'm a bit surprised that it's ending with two calmer songs in a row.

Boray, The Cross Remains is actually not an integral part of The Greater Cause. I was recorded and released for ACLJ even before the Kickstarter campaign started. So it's sort of a bonus song. That's why it's probably added to the end.

Maybe this have been all said before but I feel a really strong vibe from "Unfit for Swine" (which is my favorite John Schlitt solo album so far - will be interesting to see it that lasts).

I had forgotten that it was orginally not produced for TGC, but too be honest I think it fits nicely in with the message of the whole album.
