Notice you have posted several post in past with inappropriate words. Please don't give the excuse about not understanding what they mean. It is beginning to seem that it is becoming a pattern of yours. Also, please don't tell me "I shouldn't be judging anyone". You are now doing it on purpose in order to irritate several of your "Pethead" friends.
Please act like a christian if you say you are or don't post what is inappropriate. By the way, Corval please make your friend understand this.

You should know how things get out of hand around here sometimes, Elo.

Several people expressed concern about watching our language. They have valid points, and a wise person will be able to admit it when someone has a valid point. Maybe Jackie doesn't want to feel she's being judged or criticised, and I can understand that. I went through a time when that was a big issue for me too, and I was just about her age.

Whatever the case, to continue to do something after several people now have indicated it bothers them isn't right either. Maybe she should stop and ask herself now what she hopes to prove by continuing to blank out bad words.

End of speech. Sheesh, and this started out as a Night of Joy thread?

I have not responded to this topic for some time now. But Kaiser just did. Just wanted to make sure you were really intending to address that last post to me.

Well, I haven't talked to Micah about this particular thread, but I don't know that it's offensive enough to warrant locking it so there could be no more posts. It's not like it's a flame war or anything. If you don't like it, don't read it and don't post on it. There is another thread about Night of Joy on Hallmark Channel anyway... why don't we post there instead and let this thread sink to the bottom?

If we quit posting on this thread it will go away by itself. I do not like to shut down threads because I think it makes people fell like they cannot speak freely. The only reason I did not shut the thread down earlier was so Jackie could feel comfortable speaking freely, despite the fact that she had to have known what she posted would offend people or she would not have blanked it out. I don't doubt that she has done a lot for Petra, but by upsetting people here she may cause them to get angry and thus to sin.

I doubt that anyone in Petra would approve of her using English profanities on this message board. She can help Petra in many ways, but posting those words (or even implying them) does NOT help Petra, and it also does not help the cause of Christ. It is nothing but damaging. I appreciate her work for Petra, and I support it, but I do not support profanity on this message board.
