Pretty much. I have no idea what brent is talking about.Shell wrote:You might keep in mind that not everyone has a background in or really understands how the biz works, Brent; there may be people who don't understand the significance of that. Just a suggestion.

Re: ClassicPetra.com
I seem to recall Petra working with William Morris a number of years ago, but other than that I don't really understand the significance of it either.

What Brent meant is that WME is a way more solid Booking company, and it's just geeting better for PETRA overall.

William Morris is HUGE in the industry. They are not limited to Christian music. They are in the major markets and have a good healthy roster. If they cannot get this thing booked, nobody can.

Re: ClassicPetra.com
Does anyone else think they could do a better job with the Website?
I think Petra or Classic Petra deserves a lot better design that what is there now. I hope a new one is coming with the release of the album.
Albeit fitting with the 80s Atari theme, Classic Petra should get a better website.

Re: ClassicPetra.com
Should they be using Petraband.com to help promote this as well?
Or at least be promoting the other reunion shows this year with Bob and John?

I have wondered about that myself, I also wonder why Greg hasn't said anything on his site. If I were him I would have it all over my main page.

Re: ClassicPetra.com
I’ve seen other artists do this also. Bands would re-unite and launch a tour, but nothing said on the lead singer’s solo website. But yet it still happens.
From experience if there is an unsurely of something happening, then don’t widely advertise until something is concrete. So something might be posted on Greg’s site when the tour dates are announced.
